Family Counselling
Ease tension and build a calmer, more connected home.
Families are systems — when one part is struggling, everyone feels it. Tension at home can leave parents exhausted and children misunderstood, with the same arguments playing on repeat.
Working with the family as a whole, we ease conflict, clarify roles and boundaries, and help each member feel heard — fostering healthier, more resilient relationships.
How I can help
Using Family Systems Theory and a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, I help families understand the patterns between them — shifting from blame toward shared understanding and connection.
Common questions
Does the whole family need to attend?
Not always. Sometimes we begin with parents or part of the family, and involve others as it makes sense. We’ll decide together what’s most helpful.
Do you work with children and teens?
Yes — within a family context. The focus is on the relationships and dynamics around the young person, supporting the whole system together.
